From 29-31 October 2025, the Chulalongkorn University Language Institute (CULI) organized a workshop titled "Guidelines for CULI's Operational Excellence based on TQA Criteria for the Fiscal Year 2026."
The project aimed to provide institute personnel with an in-depth understanding of the Thailand Quality Award (TQA) criteria and to enable them to apply these standards as a framework for developing work and service processes within their respective departments.
The training featured lectures, hands-on workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions, facilitated by the esteemed Assistant Professor Saovaluk Sukprasert (a TQA/EdPEx Assessor and subcommittee member for Educational Quality Development and Excellence at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation - MHESI).
The event was attended by 49 CULI executives and staff, including the Director, 5 Vice Directors, 5 Assistant Vice Directors, Heads of teaching groups, representatives from all 3 teaching groups, and 32 operational staff members (totaling 50 participants, including the speaker).
Participants who completed the full 9-hour program received a certificate from the speaker. This initiative directly aligns with the institute's OKR 3.1: "Percentage of operational staff who receive certificates from training or experiential learning for self-development per year (at least 2 certificates)."
This project not only promotes collaborative learning but also inspires both academic and operational staff to effectively apply the acquired knowledge within their real-world work contexts. Furthermore, it strengthens an organizational culture of continuous learning and sustainable development.
